ABOUT
Hi, I’m Janey
I’ve always believed spaces should feel lived in, playful, and useful. Not museum perfect.
Curio Curator grew out of my love for reworking spaces using what already exists, layering in interesting finds, and discovering clever ways to make a room function better.
Sometimes that means rearranging everything.
Sometimes it means introducing a few unexpected pieces.
Sometimes it means painting a mural that brings a wall to life.
Always practical. Always personal.

How Curio Curator Started
Curio Curator started in a pretty natural way. I began helping friends and clients rethink their workspaces and offices, finding ways to make them more functional and far more interesting.
What started as small refreshes quickly became full space transformations. Rearranging layouts, sourcing unique pieces, solving storage challenges, and adding personality in ways people had not considered before.
I realized there were a lot of people who wanted help with their spaces but did not want the cost or complexity of traditional interior design.
Curio Curator was created for them.
My Approach
My approach is simple.
-
Start with what you already have.
-
Look at the space with fresh eyes.
-
Introduce thoughtful pieces that add personality.
-
Solve the practical challenges that make rooms frustrating.
The goal is never perfection. The goal is a space that feels warm, collected, and genuinely enjoyable to spend time in.

What I Love About Spaces
Some of my favorite design moments include:
-
Finding clever ways to hide the everyday clutter
-
Mixing old pieces with colorful new finds
-
Unexpected decor that makes people smile
-
Walls that deserve a little color
-
The occasional gold bunny
Spaces should tell a story, and the best ones always feel a little curious.
